M.Jackson in 'Han-bok' ~

I was looking thru a Korean news portal and saw this photo.  It's Micheal Jackson dressed in a traditional korean hanbok...holding a korean baby : )  may he rest in peace.

just thought i'd share ~

Ack ! help ???

What do u do when your child's tooth is loose it wiggles???

Devin was playing outside w/ his very active cousin...and they ended up bumping into eachother.

The problem is...while the cousin bumped w/ his head (he's totally fine)....Devin got hit straight on his nose & front teeth!!!   Of course there was the bloody nose...BUT we didn't see his loose tooth till last nite (a whole day after the initial event).  *sigh*  Devin was laughing w/ his mouth real wide...and i noticed that one of his front 2 teeth was sort of crooked?  his front teeth were always straight.  i told him to keep his mouth open while i inspected.  yup...it was loose.  Damn it.

Hubby called our children's dentist in Korea and they said that they needed to do an x-ray to be sure...but that it could be a different number of possibilities:

1. broken tooth (which he would have to have removed)

2. nerve damage (the tooth would turn dark/black eventually)

3. gum/tissue damage (D. would be fine...try not to handle too much...would harden on it's own).

Do any of you other Mom's have any experience w/ this???  I'm so upset.  I can't believe he got hurt like this.  I'm never gonna let my kids run around other kids like that again   Who knew bumping into something/someone could turn into an accident like this....

Discounts : )

I just bought another stroller

yes, i know, i have a problem too...hehe (but Hubs was the one that suggested i sell our other one and get a new one...sooo...yeah, he supports my addiction!)

BUT that isn't the point of this entry.

For those of you who are looking for discounts, take a look at Albeebaby.com (which is where i buy a lot of my strollers) because they have a coupon for 15% off......buuuut it doesn't apply to Bugaboo, maclaren, or Orbit. The code is 15OFF.

Also, Chitchatbaby.com has a 5% off coupon that DOES apply to all strollers (it isn't a huge discount, but every penny counts, right?).  The code is LIZARD...and it works for the month of July !

I have not been updating regularly...just getting over jetlag...vegging... just plain-ole-being-lazy ~

I LOVE THIS !!!

Why?

because once u become a MOM (esp. w/ 2 boys)...it seriously is a luxury to be 'lazy.' There is never enough 'ME' time! But thanks to being at my parents place (chin-jung)...i can get my much needed rest...Ahhhh~  hehe. Oh and i was just saying to my Hubby: "you know, the trips WE take as a family are just 'trips'. but the trips i take back to the US are my 'vacation'!"

Here are some of our recent pics -

SDC10897

(Incheon airport has just expanded and now has an underground shuttle to the different Concourses...just like the Airport in ATL)...Devin is posing just like this new Power Ranger wanna-be type character he likes lately !

SDC10900

SDC10903

(The new playarea at the Incheon airport...It's really nice...has a tiny kids bathroom & a separate feeding/changing area for babies...there were mainly more americans here than koreans?)

SDC10935

SDC10925

(In Grandma&Grandpa's backyards...swimming in the tiny pool...and trying to pick from the Bae and apple trees)

Hope everyone is having a great summer!  It is sooooo H-O-T  here !!!

Our trip to Jeju-do (5/09)

SDC10746

(As soon as we landed at Jeju airport. Waiting for our rental car. I luv this picture! the boys look so happy to be brothers! )

SDC10752

(After our 1st meal in Jeju. We decided on a highly recommended Jook/porridge place.  We all loved it...even the kids.  The halmuhni at the restaurant gave D and T this Jeju-guul...it's huge, huh? ) BTW, the car rental company provides carseats so the customer doesn't have to bring it w/ them.

SDC10753

(D and his guul) ~

SDC10754

(The first place we stayed at...we split our time b/w 2 places.  This is Phoenix Island. A condo in Subjikoji. This place is newly built and was really nice.  2 bedrooms..living room...kitchen...2 baths.  Very modern building.  BTW, this is the area where 'All In' drama was shot years ago w/ Lee byung hun and Song hae gyo).

SDC10772

Never ending fields of greenery.  You don't get to see this kind of thing in Seoul.  It was so nice to just let the kids GO...and not have to run to catch them...or say no every 5 seconds~ You can see Hubs w/ his DSLR and tripod attached to him...hehe.

SDC10755

The view from our room.

SDC10775

Our building in the background.  I love the 'motion' in this picture. D looks so happy~

SDC10807

Very windy...cause it's an island : )  Quick pic w/ Daddy~

SDC10815

The boys~

SDC10817

One of the theme parks we visited.  Veeeeery korean, no?  hehe~

SDC10833

The last half of our trip was spent in Shilla Hotel.  Oh my it was nice.  We've been here before...before we had kids...and didn't realize then what a great place it is for children.  D and T are at the Gymboree in the Shilla Hotel.  Yes!!! they have  a Gymboree IN the hotel..offering different classes everyday.

SDC10840

One of the other great activities the hotel offered was an Animal feeding program.  There is a small 'zoo' on the grounds...so the kids got a tour of the area...and got to feed various animals (bunnies, Koi fish, ferrets, parrots, etc).  Devin esp. luved this part ~

It was just an overall 'fun' trip for the kids.  Our 1st family vacation as a family of 4 !  It was pretty memorable.  Esp. because it was my 30th birthday during the trip.  The hotel's manager sent up a complimentary cake for my birthday...it was sweet : )

Sorry these pics aren't that 'pretty.'  We have more pictures from Hubby's DSLR (and we all know the picture quality from dslr's are sooo much better than P&S's)...but they are on the other computer...and i'm just too lazy...keke.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!
